(Belated) Happy Thanksgiving/Happy Birthday Reesie!

This picture is suppose to be at the end! oops! We had such a great time playing with Abby and Dax - so cute!

It's the last day of November so I thought I better get my Thanksgiving pictures posted. Mark and I went to Mesa for Thanksgiving this year. It was gorgeous weather (75 - 80) and we enjoyed it immensely! We had a "Clouse Family" Thanksgiving at the Germaine's. Here's a few pics of the big event!

Gravy makers - Nyla and Jeanie - (are they cute or what?!!)

Mom making the whipped cream - (she's a cutie too!) (It was the first Thanksgiving without Dad - we missed him.)

Nyla, Marsha and Mom getting "stuff" ready -

Nyla, Jeanie, Lynsee (tasting the potatoes) , Shelley and Kent

Kent, Mark and John sampling the THREE turkeys! (2 in the pit, 1 in brine) They were all delicious. Thank you Max and Jeanie for a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner! I should have taken a picture of us actually eating! There were about 20 of us (Germaines, Clouses, Nicholas', Paynes, and Buelers)

Shelley, Shara and Mike scanning the ads for "Black Friday"
Reesie's 2nd Birthday was also Thanksgiving Day - Happy Birthday! We skyped her that evening but she was too busy playing with her new toys!

Looks like mom in this picture

Looks like dad in this one!

a little static in the hair?

Grams and Abbs doing the "bunny hop"

Daxton taking in the "zoo lights" at the Phoenix Zoo. (we did need jackets!)

AC and Abby - There was a talking giraffe that Abby loved. I didn't get a picture of it but it was pretty impressive!

We had a great time and can't wait to see the Call's again at Christmas.

Happy 30th

Hard to believe I know! It's our 30th anniversary today! Not sure where those 30 years went! I started to make a yearly list of things we've done through the years but it was taking way too long so here's the short version!:

Married Nov. 20, 1979 in the Mesa, AZ Temple

Lived in Logan (coldest place on earth!) for a couple of months before moving to Honeyville

Bought our first home in Tremonton - lived there for 12 years.

Have 4 gorgeous daughters whom we adore - hence the poem "No Buckaroos"
(Attended many YW in Excellence, New Beginnings and Girls Camps)

Moved back to Honeyville in 1992 - bought the family homestead - been here ever since

Served in many church callings - enjoyed most!

Mark worked at LaZBoy for 28 1/2 years before it closed in 2008. Has since returned to school at Bridgerland and owner of B&M Boot Repair

Carole works for the Box Elder School District as a Food Service Technician (aka.: lunch lady!)
Have 3 wonderful sons in law
Six beautiful grandchildren that we love to pieces (and one on the way)

I'm sure I'll think of more to add but it's late and I'm tired! Katie took some recent pictures and I'll post one soon too!
Happy Anniversary to us - may the next 30 be just as good! (Maybe a cruise?)

29 and holding!

Happy Birthday to our Katie girl! Hard to believe she's already 29 (you'll be 29 for a LONG time!) Those 29 years have been such a delight! What a beautiful daughter, wife, mommy, sister, grandaughter she is! Hope you've had a great day - (Sick kids and all!) Love you much!

November

Mark, Jessica and I went to visit the kids in Utah Valley last weekend. We had dinner at Landon and Tawnya's Friday night and Reese opened birthday presents since we'll be gone for her 2nd birthday. (Tawnya took all the pictures at that event! - she'll have to send me some). It was a yummy dinner and lots of fun.

Kody getting a "buzz" by "wethead" mom -
Lucas loves to put puzzles together and is very good at it! Here's the "Barnyard Friends"

Lucas had his primary program Sunday and did a great job - he had his part memorized perfectly and had some "groovy" moves to the songs! We caught a couple of winks from him also.
