Lunch Break

Kathleen and Marcia have been teaching us to crochet these cute headbands when we have a little bit of time during our lunch break - so fun!
Cute Kathleen (and the headbands too!)

Quote of the day - "She doesn't look like she knows what she's doing - but it always turns out cute!" dc

Reese

Reesie came to visit last weekend with Nappy. We had such a great time - come again soon!
Such an innocent little face!
She was getting ready for "Young Women's"! (I think she's heard this a time or two!)

All tuckered out!

Our barn/shop is finally finished - well the outside anyways - we're very happy with it!

Happy 96th Gramps

Gramps - 96 years - Grams - 91 years ( taken January 9, 2010)
We met at Jeremiah's for breakfast (at 7:30 a.m.!) for Grandpa and Grandma Nicholas' birthdays. This is one of Gramps favorite places to eat so we've made it a tradition the last few years. Anne and Roy were not able to join us due to the stomach flu. Hope you're feeling better!

Happy New Year! (2010)

(This is the last of my holiday posts! )
We played some pretty hilarious games over the holidays - this one is Sedarahc (Charades backwards) - the word was "tractor" - can't you tell! Some fun games we played were "Head of the Herd", Eye to Eye, Cahootz, Take Two (Scrabble), and others that I can't remember. We stayed home New Year's Eve and had alot of fun.
New Year's Day we headed to SLC for our family fun getaway. We stayed at Springhill Suites/Mariott and did alot of fun things - enjoy the next few posts about our trip.

Gateway Children's Museum

As part of our New Year's Weekend we went to the Gateway Children's Museum - what a great place for kids (and adults) of all ages. Tons of stuff to do. Highly recommended!

Reesie loved driving the cars. (She's taking her dad for a ride)

Girl Time

Our guys were so kind to let the girls go out for some fun - only we were too tired (notice pictures) to shop or go to a movie so we chose sit and eat dessert! We were so excited to go to the "Melting Pot' only to find it wasn't open - so we decided upon Chili's.

Just before departing Sunday morning - the only family picture taken! Don't we look loverly! What a great time we've had!
Ryker: "So long Dax!
Dax: "See ya in February buddy. "
