One Last Ride

The kids wanted to sled one last time before the snow's all gone - it was hard and crunchy but they had still had fun -
Kody's favorite place to be - with Gramps on the 4-wheeler (not in the sled!)

Lucas tried to jump back in and missed - he got a "snow" burn on his chin!

Whoops!

RMP Has Arrived

Rocky Mountain Power has arrived in full force!
These huge things arrived in our pasture last weekend.
(After I took these pictures I noticed there was a guy sitting in the truck talking on his phone!)

There is about 3 times this much equipment down there now -
Tonight - cement trucks are lined up waiting their turn to pour -
Four more trucks are on the highway waiting to drive in -
There is alot of noise going on - they might be here a while!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We spent Valentine's Day with the Valentine's! We left yesterday afternoon and made a couple of stops - wandering around Ikea for a while - then on to Spanish Fork.
We went to church with them to see Jed sustained as a counselor in the Bishopric. He'll be awesome and do a great job - Katie's not so sure about wrestling 3 little boys but she'll do fine and has Nappy there to help for a while.
I'm happy to report Daxton is doing well and got to go home last Thursday - (he had pneumonia). Hopefully this week will be less eventful for the Call Family.
The Kesler's are getting settled into their new home in Holden - Tawnya reports they are almost done unpacking!
Mark and I went to Tooele on Friday. He was asked to do some poetry for the Wool Growers Association. It's a long ways out there - I sure don't miss those bus rides!
Happy Valentine's Day!

St. George Trip

Melanie and I took a little trip to St. George this weekend to attend a wedding at the Temple. Our cousin Doreen invited us so we decided to go - we are so glad we did - it has been so fun to "reconnect" with our Clouse/Pope cousins that we hadn't seen in years. Doreen lives in Tremonton so we have seen her a few times in the past few months.
We left Friday about 1:30 pm. We stopped to see Tawnya and Landon's new abode in Holden. They will have a very nice place once they're all moved in and put away! It was fun to see my little Reesie again. She's such a corker.
We got to St. Geo about 8:00 pm and just checked in to our motel and relaxed. (She's on the phone talking to our mom.)

Carole, Cindy, Doreen and Melanie. I figured it's been about 35-ish years since we've seen each other - (I don't recommend that!) Hopefully now we can keep in touch and see each other once in a while. It was SO FUN to find out about each other and where everyone lives. They are so sweet. We could have visited all day long - but there was a wedding to attend to!

Bride and Groom and parents - they were pretty happy!

Cindy and Melanie still chatting - (Cindy's husband Mark standing nearby)
We left right after the wedding to check out of the motel and head back north - we stopped at Katie and Jed's to see the boys. Katie made us Italian Cream Sodas and her yummy popcorn. It was great to see them but just not long enough. We made a stop at the Provo Hospital to see LaFlorence Jones. She looked great for having surgery! Geralyn and Marvin were there also. We had a nice visit with them too. Hope you get to go home today!
We made it home about 8:00 last night.
