Bronson's Blessing Day

We had a great weekend celebrating birthdays and blessings. Ryker turned one and Bronson was blessed on Sunday - I didn't take many pictures but here's a few to enjoy - (I'll have to get some from Katie)
Proud parents (they should be!)
Love this handsome little guy in his blessing outfit

Reese and her friend Dally
Kody and his new friend Drake

These two toads kept escaping to the neighbors swings -

Opening presents -
Kody, Reese and Lucas "helping" him open presents -
He loved his very own cupcake - and ate the whole thing!
Happy Birthday Ryker! We love you lots!

Baby Blues

Having the baby blues today - my baby turned 21!

Bell's

We enjoyed having the Bell Family visit us this past weekend. They came for Bryan's grandpa's funeral so it was a quick trip We haven't seen them for a long time and it was fun to see the kids and how much they've grown!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mother's out there! I have certainly been so blessed to be a mother to my four wonderful daughters and three of them have been blessed to be mothers now! Here's a poem that Mark wrote for me a LONG time ago. I found it in my box of "treasures"so we had it printed and framed for each of our Mother's this year.

Mother

Crafted by the Master's hand

Each detail etched by time.

The winds of trials, the floods of pain,

Make you the more sublime.

The Master carved a masterpiece

With hands that reach to hold

The tear-stained child with skinned up knees

And lives to shape and mold.

He carved a heart with love unfeigned

That's pure and undefiled.

That makes her arms a safe warm place

For each and every child.

He carved out things like patience

And hope that springs eternal.

The gift of laughter, joy, and smiles

That comes from those maternal.

This masterpiece was carved by God

His gift to one another.

This simple, essential work of art

Will bear the name of Mother.

Mark Nicholas @1995

(this is the last verse that he wrote for me):

Yes, God created mothers

But from you he carved the mold

Thank you, Carole, for being

The mother of my fold.

Happy Mother's Day to our moms, daughters, sisters, and friends. Love you all so much!

Jones Family

These are some of my most favorite people! The Jones Family! Alan's daughter married a young man from Brigham City so Melanie and I went to the reception to visit for a while.

Marvin, LaFlorence, Shelly and Alan

Melanie, Geralyn, Marshall and Thelma

Pam, Melanie, (Alan's DIL I think?), Geralyn, Marshall and Thelma (and the back of Mark's head)
(I feel bad I didn't get a picture of the Beautiful Bride and Groom) - I was too busy talking!

Happy Birthday/Graduation

April 30th was a big day for these two - Mark's birthday and Tawnya's graduation from UVU! After the graduation we all went to Good Wood for dinner to celebrate.
"Tawnya Kay Kesler" - Bachelor of Science - Communications

The Happy Grad! Congratulations!
Two thumbs up is right - Grandpa Greg and Kaylynn admiring Baby Bronson - he was so good through the whole boring graduation.
Landon and Tawnya

Impossible to take a picture with these kiddos -

Enjoying the grandkids - (just missing A & D)
