Splashpad Fun

We had Sheridan, Torrie and kids visiting with us this past week. We love having them come stay with us. We met up with Tawnya, Katie and their kids at the Gateway Splashpad for a day. The kids had a fun time playing in the water and we had a great time watching and visiting (didn't we Sheridan!) Gracie, Maddie and Cole are in the middle somewhere getting soaked!

Happy Birthday!

Today would have been my dad's 81st birthday. (Not sure I like the past tense). My mom was able to go up to Virden with Jennifer and her girls. Tonight is Allison's reception in Duncan so it worked out nicely. She hadn't been back since his buriel so she was able to go to the cemetery and put a pretty wreath on his grave.
It still seems kind of surreal that he's not here with us anymore - but he's in a great place and we'll see him again. Mom always had me talk to him when I called - I miss him saying "Hey, how's my baby?!"
Okay - the tears are streaming - enough said!

FUN WITH THE FAM

Last weekend was the Nicholas Couples Reunion. We went to the Bell's Cabin in Mt. Pleasant and had a grand time.

Shopping at the second hand store - a few treasures were found - but not many!

We attended a Mt. Pleasant Ward for church - (they announced Hillary Clinton would give the prayer - it was pretty funny! - wrong last name).

We had alot of food, fun and family - thanks Cook's - it was great!

FUN WITH REESE

We had 5 fun filled days having Reese come stay with us. She was such a good little munchkin and so full of energy! Her cute little face says it all!

We loved playing "beauty shop" all day long!
