Grandma N. turns 90!

Tonight was the Nicholas Family Christmas Party/Grandma's 90th Birthday Party. Despite bad weather, bad roads, freeway closures, and car troubles, it was a fun party! My kids were all on their way up but Katie and Jed had car trouble in Bountiful so Landon and Tawnya towed them back to Provo. (I'm thinking it was one of those "tender mercies".) It took some of the family members over 2 hours to get there. Enjoy the pictures!

ONE YEAR OLD!

Can you believe our little Reesie Peesie is one year old! We had a little party tonight for her.
She is such a little cutie and has the cutest personality. I love it when she chatters. Not sure what she's saying but it's important I"m sure! She is so cute when she plays with her babies. She'll be such a good mommy someday! We're so glad we got to celebrate your birthday with you. We love you lots and lots.

I can't remember how old she is here but she sure is cute!

29 - (Twenty-nine)

I know, it's not the 29th today, nor am I 29 and holding.
Today is our 29th anniversary! Hard to believe but it's true.
We've had a great marriage and feel like we've accomplished quite a bit.
We've been blessed with four beautiful daughters who have added 3 wonderful sons in law who have given us 4 darling grandkids (with one on the way)!
We have the blessings of a temple marriage, the gospel of Jesus Christ in our life to show us the way, and the faith and hope that we can be together forever.
What more to do we need? (I'll let you know tomorrow)!
It's time for bed and I'm tired.

Today is another darling daughter's birthday. Katie turns 28! She is our oldest and has been such a delight to have in our family. She is a wonderful wife, mother to two of the cutest little boys ever, sister, friend, daughter, photographer, and entrepreneur. We rely on her computer expertise quite regularly to help us with our website. We really appreciate all she does for us and our family.
